Following an epic start to Curawaka's 2025 Roots & Horizons world tour, which saw them perform on New Years Eve in Costa Rica alongside Mose, Franko Heke and more, plus play their first show in Guatemala alongside Lake Atitlán, Curawaka are bound for Mexico! The home country of band members Alberto Arroyo and Dario Santamaria Romero, Mexico weaves itself deeply within the hearts of the band, with the traditions and music of the country being ever present in their lives and the music they create.

Starting from Friday 24th January in Tijuana, the band will then head to Tulum, Playa Del Carmen, Tepoztlán and Mexico City. They will also hold a powerfully healing retreat in the sacred ruins of Chichén Itzá, which will see three Marakames from the Wixarika people join to lead an all night prayer circle beneath the February full moon. For anyone in this part of the world throughout February, we highly recommend catching one of the bands truly indescribable concerts, which span 3 full hours and share the magic of traditions and tales from each of their home countries. Curawaka's passion for music, connection, unity and healing of Mother Earth shines through in each song they sing.
